Traditional Spicy Foods of Bangladesh

If you are new to Bangladesh or do not have much idea about Bangladesh and want to know about Bangladesh then i should tell you that Bangladeshi people love a lot of spicy foods. Though those foods are not so healthy or good for digestion but those foods have their own value to the Bangladesh people and they love to eat those foods in different occasions like Eid-ul-Fitar, Durga Puja and in different parties.

1. Biryani:
                                             Biryani - The ultimate spicy food of Bangladesh

Biryani is one of the most favourite food for all Bangladeshi people. Though this food is originated from Mughal empire but Bangladeshi people adopted this food from them and they like it a lot. In every big occasion they cook this food and serve. This is mainly made up of rice (a special kind of rice like basmati rice or kalijira atop or atop rice). The rice has its own nice flavor and different kinds of meat are mixed with it. Like chicken, mutton or beef. Biryani is really a very tasty food to taste. This is one of the must taste food in Bangladesh.

2. Chicken Curry or Mutton Curry or Beef Curry or Fish Curry:

Bangladeshi people used to prepare their meat with curry. Even with fish they use some curry to serve. The curry is really tasty and full of different kinds of spice. You would love to taste that curry with a bit of rice.

3. Singara, Fuchka, Puri and Piyaju:

These are the spicy snacks that people love to eat other than their grand meal. During evening or in the afternoon before dinner they used to eat this kind of snacks. Singara is made up of flour and inside it is vegetable or meat. Fuchka is a kind of crunch small flour balls and potato with spice and other tasty elements are served inside it. Prui is made up of flour and inside it daal or potato is used. Piyaju is made up of lentil and it is fried and then served.
